Microsoft was one of the biggies missing from the raging Cloud-Computing trend - It is joining this with the forthcoming release Of "Windows Cloud" OS that will be launched at the Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles, the CEO Steve Ballmer has said.
IBM, Intel, Orcale are already involved in cloud computing already. It is expected to be launched this month end.
More information about the specifications, computational speed, storage and working will be revealed at the conference. They have to keep in mind the work of their competitors. MS is aiming to emerge as the winner in this cloud computing race.
The recent rundown of the financial markets might actually boost cloud computing services and its need. It is being called the "Next Generation of the Internet" and its going to be a while before the user gets to actually use and like anything concrete. Fingers crossed!
