After a drowsy 2008 the Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan comes back with a bang in November with not one but TWO roles…in the same movie.
Rab ne bana di jodi , King Khan’s latest movie has himself in a spicy double role, much like his previous outings Om Shanti Om and Duplicate.
Rab ne bana di jodi reunites buddies Aditya Chopra and Shahrukh Khan, 12 years after the mega blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Aditya Chopra had also roped in Shahrukh Khan to play a romantic violin teacher in Mohabbatein, but both the movie and Shahrukh’s role were low key compared to this high masala uber glamorous movie.
Shahrukh Khan continues his popular trend of introducing a top model to the big screen ala Amrita Rao in ‘Mai hoon Na’ and Deepika Padukone in ‘Om Shanti Om’. This time around, supermodel Anushka Sharma makes her debut opposite Shahrukh in Rab ne bana di jodi. Rab ne bana di jodi is loosely based on the Bhagwat Gita of Bollywood Comedy - Amol Palekar’s Golmal. Much like Om Shanti Om, Shahrukh will have one role of a simple desi dunderhead and the other of a new age hipster.
People love Shahrukh… for obvious reasons. And ‘Rab ne bana di jodi’ has two of him. The movie is destined to be a box office rage since there is huge buzz and huger anticipation. It will also be a welcome change for disappointed fans who watched the underwhelming ‘Paanchvi Pass’.
The formula is foolproof. The girl is hot. The promos seem jazzy. Will Shahrukh Khan repeat the success of Om Shanti Om with Rab ne bana di jodi?
And more importantly... will Aamir Khan's excruciatingly anticipated 'Ghajini' (that also releases in November) clobber Shahrukh's Rab ne bana di jodi?

Shahrukh Khan, i personally believe that is not that attractive, no offence, plz!, but in spite of that, he keeps me spellbound with his exceptional acting skills, i've never seen a better actor in my whole life than him, i guess, people who hate him are just too jealous of his status. I've watched his movie Pardes, Yes Boss and many more, and i've loved them all, just fantastic. SRK is the best, and will continue to remain so... King Khan, may god!! bless u.

Please don't insult Shahrukh by comparing him with a so called Aamir Khan! SRK has ruled the industry for almost 2 decades by doing quality work! Everybody accuses him of stardom! The reality is that SRK has gained this position by working really hard! When Aamir Khan was busy doing small time shitty movies like Akele Hum Akele Tum, Mann, and Mela, SRK did some great work in DDLJ, Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, DTPH, Kabhi Khushi, Kabhie Gham, Veer Zaara! the list is endless! Yeah, I agree Aamir has given some hits like Lagaan, TZP, Dil Chahta Hai too! But if you are talking about acting skills then let me tell you Aamir works on 1 film at a time to achieve his potential! while SRK can work in 3 movies at a time and has the potential to give superhits!
The bottom line is SRK rules! Aamir sucks!!
Amir is no SRK
Aamir is good actor but he is not as good as SRK. Look some of his past movies they did well not because of His acting but because of script and other factors, movies like Taare, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, Dil Chahta Hai in all these movies he wasn't stand out.
He acted pretty ordinary it was just the great script and direction which lead to film's success. Anybody would have replaced him. On the other hand SRK has given some remarkable performances in his career like Darr, Bazigar, Devdas, Chak De, and now Rab Ne. He is much better actor than Aamir. No offense but its true. All these films would have been superhit with or without Aamir Khan.

It' a foggy period
To be honest, I will go and watch only SRK films on the big screen, may be I will go to see an Amir's film after a feedback, because I can't see me getting that satisfaction when seeing other than a SRK film. He is cool, he is fun, he act naturally, he will touch your heart only by talking. Watching his films on the big screen worth your money. BB is great but some years ago he has chosen some main/minor roles which were stupid as an actor of calibre. So far I can't see any one surpass SRK even he make one film a year.

personally i love both amir and srk but if i had to choose then definitly will choose srk!!! not because hes the better actor but mainly because hes much more entertaining..i mean serioulsy you can not say amir ALWAYS makes quality cinema there are some monotous roles of amir as well the only difference is that we love srk playing the roles he does but with amir we get bored i mean amir as a romantic hero just seems ewww after a while.people love srk cause he makes totally cliche and unbelivable situations seem realistic and thats the greatest thing about an actor if they can transport the auidence into the movie no matter how unrealistic..amir needs real stories to do that srk doesnt, that the difference between them.RNBDJ will rule!!!

all the people who say srk is best,blah blah blah,are just curse to this society.Anyone who understands what acting means will never gv the statement that srk is best.he has ruined the whole cinema with his shit movies like OSO,main hoon na and all other regular shit stories.he has ruined the award ceremonies by just buying awards.he has ruined media by giving them money.I personally had a very bad feeling as i am a part-time social worker and I went to him to just come for some handicap children and he replied by saying he has to host some programme with pakistan and india cricket players,then i approached aamir and u wont believe but but he did that show free of cost.I am a huge fan of aamir and thank him for making such a good movies like TZP,RANG DE BASANTI,LAGAAN.And thanx for being so good to the needy people rather than just filling ur pocket.

You are incorrect. Ghajini is not a sad love story, but rather a romantic action thriller that explores the life of a once-rich businessman who suffers from short term memory loss following a violent encounter. It's a very unique movie unlike Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which is mirrors so many previous movies in plot.
Yuvvraaj is not boring either. The plot and Salman Khan was stupid, but the music was excellent.
SRK is an excellent actor, no doubt, but he lacks the creativity that is evidently present in actors like Aamir Khan and Kamal Hassan. King Khan is not king after all. :(

I think Rab ne bana di jodi is inspired by black jack and gwyneth paltrow starrer "shallow Hall[2001]".film is all abt inner beauty. there will b aditya's tratment but i think there is no double role for shahrukh,anushk.

I love both of them,aamir is perfectionist and Srk is spontanoeus and is directors baby.But they both rock.
but the fact is that all heroines are comfortable with SRK,even the best actor Kajol was frustrated in "Fanaa" working agst Aamir and she has wonderful chemistry with SRK,so thinking on same level I think SRK is a step above Aamir.
But lets not under estimate any of the film may be "Ghajini " or RNBJ"
